Portable refractometers with Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) are designed for the precise measurement of key parameters in alcoholic beverages and fermentation processes. The brewing model incorporates a dual scale of 0–32° Brix and 1.000–1.113 SG, allowing monitoring of must evolution during fermentation and control of sugar liquid density. The oenological model integrates three simultaneous scales: 0–40° Brix, 0–22° Baumé, and 0–25 % probable alcohol, facilitating the complete evaluation of musts and wines at different stages of the production process.

The ATC system automatically adjusts measurements based on temperature, ensuring precise results without the need for manual corrections. Calibration is performed simply using distilled water, ensuring quick and reliable commissioning.

The metallic structure provides high mechanical resistance and durability, while the adjustable diopter eyepiece allows for a clear reading adapted to the user. Operation is intuitive: simply place a few drops of the sample on the prism, close the lid, and observe the reading by orienting the device towards a light source.
