Nahita nanovolume spectrophotometers, models Z-6500 and Z-6500C, are designed for the rapid and precise quantification of proteins, nucleic acids, and colorimetric assays using minimal sample volumes.
Nanovolume technology allows working with quantities starting from 0.3 µL, which is especially useful in applications where the sample is limited or of high value, such as in molecular biology, biotechnology, and clinical diagnostics.
Both models operate in the UV-Vis range from 200 to 900 nm, incorporating a long-life xenon lamp that eliminates preheating time and improves operational efficiency. The linear silicon CCD detector with 3,864 elements provides high sensitivity and response speed, with a resolution of ≤ 2 nm and accuracy of ± 1 nm.
The split-beam optical system ensures stability in measurements, while the adjustable optical path (1 mm, 0.5 mm, and 0.05 mm) allows adaptation to different concentrations and sample types.
Model Z-6500 is designed exclusively for microvolume measurement, while model Z-6500C expands its functionality by incorporating cuvette compatibility, allowing work with volumes starting from 50 µL.
The equipment integrates a computer system with a 7-inch touch screen and pre-installed software, which allows analysis without the need for additional configuration. It has 32 GB of internal storage and data export options via USB or network, facilitating the management and traceability of results.
The quartz measuring platform on a stainless steel base ensures mechanical stability and durability, while its low energy consumption (29 W) and reading time of less than 5 seconds make it an efficient solution for laboratories with a high workload.
