High-capacity centrifuge with versatile configuration options
HiCap+ high-capacity, low-speed centrifuge designed for applications requiring high centrifugation capacity combined with a wide range of rotors, tubes and accessories. Suitable for microbiology and pharmaceutical laboratories, universities, research centres and industry.
Available in two models according to maximum centrifugation capacity: 1 L (4 x 250 mL) and 2 L (4 x 500 mL).
It operates over a speed range of 200 to 6000 rpm and reaches a maximum RCF of 5150 xg. The centrifugation time can be programmed, with different acceleration and braking levels available to adapt operation to the characteristics of the samples.
Rotors and configurations
Compatible with swing-out and fixed-angle rotors to accommodate different types of samples and containers. Buckets, tube holders and adapters allow tubes of different capacities and diameters to be used. Configurations for microplates and buckets with airtight biosafety lids are also available for specific applications.
Control and safety
Features automatic rotor recognition, automatic stop in the event of imbalance, a dual electric lid-locking system, a Flash function for short centrifugation runs and a slow-start function.
The memory can store up to 10 customised programmes. The 5-inch colour IPS LCD enables operating parameters to be set and monitored, while the USB port allows system updates and experimental data to be downloaded.
The maintenance-free induction motor is designed for low-maintenance operation, while the ventilation system helps limit temperature rise during centrifugation.
For applications requiring active control of sample temperature, a refrigerated HiCap+ version is available.
