The SIMAX Kitasato flask is a laboratory vessel designed for vacuum filtration operations and aspiration processes that require working under negative pressure with maximum safety and reliability. Its structure incorporates an 11 mm side connection that allows its direct coupling to vacuum systems, facilitating air evacuation and optimizing the efficiency of filtration processes.
Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3 in accordance with DIN 12475 and ISO 6556 standards, it offers high chemical resistance against common acids, saline solutions, and organic solvents, maintaining its stability even under demanding conditions. It also features excellent thermal resistance, with an approximate operating limit of 500 °C, which allows its use in processes with temperature variations without compromising the integrity of the container.
The equipment has been tested to withstand a differential pressure of up to 0.3 MPa, which guarantees its reliability in vacuum applications. Its low coefficient of thermal expansion provides remarkable resistance to thermal shock, while its robust construction ensures stable behavior against mechanical stress and pressure changes.
It is presented in two configurations, conical flask and cylindrical bottle, which allows the equipment to be adapted to different operational needs, from conventional filtrations to applications that require greater capacity and stability. The transparency of the material facilitates the visualization of the process at all times, allowing precise control during work.
