High Form Beaker
Cylindrical beaker in borosilicate glass.
High chemical and thermal resistance. Certified European manufacturing.
Documents
The cylindrical beaker is made of European-produced borosilicate glass 3.3, offering a reliable solution for laboratory applications that require precision, resistance, and stability. Its elongated design facilitates the handling of liquids and its integration into different experimental procedures.
It complies with DIN 12331 and ISO 3819 standards, which guarantees its quality, dimensional uniformity, and suitability for technical use in scientific environments. Borosilicate glass stands out for its excellent resistance to chemical agents such as water, saline solutions, acids, alkalis, and organic compounds, maintaining its integrity even under demanding conditions. Only highly aggressive substances, such as hydrofluoric acid or concentrated bases at high temperatures, can affect its structure.
Its low thermal expansion coefficient (3.3) provides high resistance to thermal shock, allowing work with temperature changes without the risk of fracture. It withstands high temperatures, with an approximate operational limit of 500 °C, maintaining structural stability and safety in its use.
The material also presents excellent hydrolytic resistance (Class 1), high resistance to acids (Class 1), and good behavior against bases (Class 2), which makes it a versatile component for multiple laboratory applications.
Its composition mainly includes silica (80.00 %) and boron oxide (12.50 %), along with other oxides that provide mechanical and chemical stability to the assembly.
Available in different capacities, this beaker is an essential tool for heating, mixing, dissolving, and handling liquids in analysis, research, and industrial laboratories.
A robust, precise, and durable solution for demanding scientific environments.
