The Medibas+ model 2741 universal benchtop centrifuge is a high-capacity unit designed for laboratory applications that require versatility, precision, and safety in centrifugation processes. Its configuration with a swinging bucket rotor and multiple included adapters allows working with different sample volumes, making it an effective solution for analytical, clinical, and research environments.

Equipped with a digital control system managed by a microprocessor, the centrifuge allows for precise regulation of speed, time, and relative centrifugal force, reaching up to 4000rpm and a maximum RCF of 2790×g. The unit incorporates 9 programmable levels of acceleration and deceleration, as well as a pulsed operation mode, which allows adjusting the dynamic behavior according to the type of sample and protocol requirements.

The brushless induction motor guarantees continuous operation without the need for maintenance, providing stability, low noise level, and long service life. The LED screens allow real-time monitoring of operating parameters, including speed, cycle time, and equipment settings, facilitating intuitive and precise handling.

The equipment is supplied with a swinging bucket rotor and three adapters that allow working with 100ml, 50ml Falcon-type, and 15ml tubes, all suitable for autoclave sterilization. This versatility allows the centrifuge to be adapted to different applications, from processing large volumes to handling smaller capacity samples.

Operation remains quiet, with an approximate acoustic level of 60dB, which contributes to a more comfortable working environment. Additionally, it incorporates an air circulation cooling system that prevents the chamber from overheating during prolonged cycles.

In terms of safety, the centrifuge has an electromechanical lid lock that prevents its opening during operation, as well as a system that prevents startup if the lid is not correctly closed. It also includes a protection mechanism that automatically stops the equipment if the maximum allowed speed is exceeded. The lid, equipped with a reinforced structure and an inspection window, allows the process to be monitored with complete safety and has automatic or manual opening in case of electrical failure.

The structure of the equipment combines an external casing and a metal base with an inner stainless steel basin, providing resistance and durability. The suction cup feet ensure stable fixation on the work surface, minimizing vibrations during operation.
