The Glassco ground joint Erlenmeyer flask is a laboratory container designed for mixing, heating, and reaction operations in systems that require a precise seal or connection using a standard ground glass joint. Its design facilitates integration into reflux, distillation, or vacuum setups, allowing for greater control and safety in analytical and research processes.

Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3, a material known for its high chemical stability, it offers excellent resistance to water, salt solutions, acids, bases, and common organic solvents. It only presents limitations against hydrofluoric acid and, at elevated temperatures, against strong bases or phosphoric acid. Its low coefficient of thermal expansion provides remarkable resistance to thermal shock, allowing its use in heating processes without compromising structural integrity.

The flask complies with international standards DIN 12347, ISO 4797, and USP standards, guaranteeing dimensional precision, material quality, and suitability for demanding applications. The ground joint ensures a hermetic coupling with other glass components, reducing losses and improving system efficiency.

It incorporates white screen printing with an identification area, which facilitates sample marking and control during work. Its composition, based primarily on silica with contributions of stabilizing oxides, gives it a robust and durable structure, with high hydrolytic resistance of class 1, excellent behavior against acids, and adequate response to alkaline media.

Available in different capacities, this flask adapts to multiple operational needs, offering a reliable, precise, and versatile solution for laboratories that require a high level of performance in their experimental procedures.
