Abbe Refractometer

Abbe Nahita refractometers are high-precision optical instruments designed for the determination of the refractive index (nD) and concentration in Brix degrees in a wide variety of liquid, translucent, and solid samples. They are an essential tool in sectors such as food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, petrochemical, and sugar, as well as in academic and research environments.

The digital model has an LCD screen for direct reading, with a refractive index measurement range from 1.3000 to 1.7000 nD and concentration from 0 to 95 % Brix. It integrates automatic temperature compensation (ATC) in the Brix scale and an RS232 output for connection with external equipment, facilitating data management and its integration into control systems.

The analog model offers reading via an optical scale, using ambient lighting. It incorporates a magnification system that allows for clear and detailed observation, as well as an integrated digital thermometer to monitor measurement conditions. Its metallic structure with a resistant finish guarantees durability and stability in use.

Both versions include the necessary accessories for their operation, such as a protective case, calibration cylinder, contact liquid (bromonaphthalene), adjustment tools, and auxiliary optical elements. These devices also allow connection to circulating thermostats, optimizing precision in applications requiring strict thermal control.
