Manual Rotary Microtome 1-25µm

The basic manual rotary microtome is a laboratory instrument designed for obtaining thin sections of biological samples, being especially suitable for histological applications in both routine work and training and research environments. Its operation via manual drive allows precise control of sample advance, facilitating uniform and reproducible sectioning.

The equipment allows working with section thicknesses between 1 and 25 µm, with a minimum resolution of 1 µm, which guarantees high precision in the preparation of samples for subsequent microscopic analysis. This capacity makes it suitable for tissues embedded in paraffin, as well as for more consistent materials in various applications.

Its robust structure incorporates a wide base that provides stability during use, reducing vibrations and improving cutting quality. The regulation system allows adjusting the blade inclination in a range of 0° to 10°, optimizing the cutting angle based on the material's characteristics.

The drive handwheel integrates a locking mechanism that allows fixing the sample holder in its upper position, facilitating the replacement of the sample or blade with greater safety. Furthermore, it incorporates an acoustic signaling system at the end of each cutting cycle and allows controlled retraction of the sample holder.

The blade holder is adjustable in different directions, allowing precise positioning of the edge and improving process efficiency. The clamping system ensures the correct alignment of the sample with respect to the cutting plane, guaranteeing consistent results.

The equipment is supplied with a blade included and a sample fixing system, ready for immediate use.
