The Zuzi model 4111RS spectrophotometer is an analytical instrument designed to perform determinations in the visible region of the electromagnetic spectrum, providing a reliable and accessible solution for laboratories that require basic quantitative measurements with data processing capability.

It operates in a spectral range of 330 to 1000 nm via manual wavelength adjustment, allowing precise selection of the measurement point. The results reading is displayed on a digital screen, facilitating immediate interpretation of absorbance, transmittance, and concentration.

The single-beam optical system incorporates a 1200 lines/mm diffraction grating and a silicon photodiode detector, ensuring stability and repeatability in routine analyses. The illumination source is based on a 6 V, 10 W halogen lamp.

The equipment has simplified calibration functions, including blank adjustment and auto-zero, optimizing instrument preparation before each measurement.

Unlike basic models, the 4111RS incorporates an RS232 interface that allows connection to a computer. The sample compartment is compatible with standard 10 mm optical path cuvettes. The equipment includes two glass cuvettes, a dark cuvette for calibration, and a support adapter.
