RS-1524 High-Speed Refrigerated Centrifuge

The RSLAB RS-1524 refrigerated benchtop centrifuge is a high-performance unit designed for clinical, industrial, and research laboratories that require processing small-volume samples with maximum precision and thermal control. Its ability to work in a temperature range between -20°C and 40°C allows preserving the integrity of sensitive samples, making it especially suitable for applications in biotechnology, chemical analysis, veterinary medicine, and immunology.

Equipped with a brushless DC motor, this centrifuge offers continuous operation without the need for maintenance, ensuring stability, low noise level, and a long lifespan. The unit allows adjusting the speed between 200 and 15000rpm, with increments of 100rpm, reaching a maximum relative centrifugal force of 21380×g, with precise regulation in increments of 10g. The acceleration and deceleration cycles, of approximately 25 seconds, ensure controlled and reproducible behavior in each process.

The digital control system incorporates an intuitive interface with an LED display that simultaneously shows the operating parameters, such as speed, time, and rotor configuration. Furthermore, it integrates an automatic conversion function between rpm and relative centrifugal force depending on the selected rotor, facilitating use and reducing calculation errors. The programmable timer allows cycles from 30 seconds to 99 minutes, including continuous operation mode, which provides great operational flexibility.

The equipment is supplied without an installed head, allowing selection between different interchangeable rotors according to the application. Its standard configuration supports a rotor for 24 microtubes of 1.5 or 2ml, with the possibility of working with smaller volumes through additional adapters. This versatility allows adapting the equipment to multiple protocols and laboratory needs.

The structure is made of coated steel, providing resistance and durability, while the motor's elastic suspension system reduces vibrations and ensures smooth operation. The chamber incorporates auxiliary ventilation to prevent overheating and maintain optimal working conditions, complementing the cooling system based on R290 refrigerant.

In terms of safety, the centrifuge integrates an electric brake, electromagnetic lid lock, and a locking system that prevents its opening during operation. It also has protection against overspeed and overheating, along with automatic equipment diagnosis, guaranteeing a safe working environment. The lid incorporates a counterbalance mechanism that facilitates its handling, as well as a manual emergency opening system in case of electrical failure.
