Digital Overhead Stirrer Model 688
The digital overhead stirrer Model 688 by Nahita Blue is designed for laboratory applications requiring precision, stability and ease of use, particularly when working with medium to high viscosity liquids. The unit is supplied as a complete system, including a support structure with H-shaped base, vertical rod and stirring shaft with cross-type impeller, ensuring excellent stability and reduced vibration during operation.
The unit features a digital display with push-button control, allowing easy adjustment of speed and time. It offers a speed range from 100 to 1200 rpm with 10 rpm increments, enabling precise control depending on the sample. The 0–24 h timer allows process automation and consistent operation in extended or repetitive tasks.
It is particularly suitable for working with high viscosity liquids and complex mixtures, such as liquid–liquid and solid–liquid systems, with a maximum viscosity of 5000 mPa·s. Its brushless motor and maximum torque of 10 N·cm ensure efficient, quiet operation with minimal maintenance.
The chuck accepts shafts from 1 to 10 mm in diameter, allowing the use of different stirring shafts and impellers depending on the application. With a maximum capacity of 5 litres, it is suitable for chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental, educational and quality control laboratories.
