Glass Vacuum Trap for Laboratory Essential laboratory device that generates depression in closed spaces by utilizing the flow of running water. It finds wide application in distillations under reduced pressure, filtration and substance separation processes, as well as in the aspiration of liquids. Operating mode:1. The upper end of the trap must be coupled to the potable water network. 2. The side connection or olive is linked to the laboratory apparatus where the vacuum is required to be produced. 3. By activating the water flow, the water passes through a narrowed section inside the instrument, increasing its speed and causing air aspiration according to the Venturi principle.Operating specifications: To obtain optimal performance, the equipment requires a minimum hydrostatic pressure of 4 kg/cm². Under these conditions, the device is capable of reaching an approximate vacuum level of 17 mm Hg.
