28 Fields Glass Compressor for Trichina
Soda-lime glass compressor plate for trichina analysis.
28 silkscreened observation fields. Veterinary use in laboratory and food control.
The soda-lime glass compressor plate is designed for the identification and analysis of trichina in meat samples from species such as pigs, horses, wild boar, and other animals, being a fundamental instrument in veterinary controls, food safety, and laboratory analysis.
The device is composed of two 6 mm thick soda-lime glass sheets, perfectly aligned and superimposed, which allow for the uniform compression of the samples for subsequent observation. Both plates incorporate side grooves that facilitate their manipulation during the analysis process.
The assembly is fixed using lateral brass screws, accompanied by silicone washers that provide stability, protect the glass, and guarantee controlled pressure on the samples. This system ensures firm and repeatable assembly during use.
The lower plate features a white screen print with 28 working fields, each with dimensions of 25 × 12 mm, which allow for organizing, identifying, and analyzing multiple samples simultaneously. The total dimensions of the assembly are 230 mm in length and 50 mm in width, offering an adequate surface for systematic and controlled work.
Soda-lime glass provides good transparency and chemical resistance, facilitating detailed visual observation and ensuring adequate performance under typical laboratory conditions.
This instrument is especially used in veterinary laboratories, food inspection, and livestock farms where rigorous control of the presence of trichina in meat products is required.
