Bottle for the determination of dissolved oxygen in water by the Winkler method.
The volume engraved on each bottle is used directly to calculate the oxygen concentration of the sample.
This volume is measured with the bottle's own stopper, so bottle and stopper carry the same number and are always used together.
Use
- Fill the bottle completely with the sample, without air bubbles.
- Fix the oxygen with the method reagents and close with the stopper.
- Titrate the liberated iodine with sodium thiosulfate.
