Drechsel Gas Washing Bottle with GL45 Thread, 500ml

The 500 ml gas washing bottle, based on the Drechsler design, is made of highly transparent borosilicate glass, providing excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability in laboratory applications. Designed for the purification, humidification, drying, or selective treatment of gas streams, it allows for controlled interaction between the gas and the absorbent liquid contained within.

It incorporates a GL45 screw closure system with a plastic stopper, along with two connections equipped with 8 mm olive fittings that facilitate integration into gas circuits and coupling to standard hoses. The straight internal conducting tube allows the gas flow to be directed toward the liquid, promoting efficient absorption of contaminants or specific components.

The container features screen-printed volumetric markings that allow for a clear reading of the contained volume, as well as an area for labeling for identification of samples or reagents. Its cylindrical geometry, with an approximate diameter of 86 mm and a height of 182 mm (without stopper), provides stability during use.

Manufactured according to ISO 4796-1 standard and equipped with a Retrace system for traceability, this device ensures quality and control in demanding analytical environments. The borosilicate 3.3 glass composition offers high resistance to water, saline solutions, acids, bases, and organic solvents, being only vulnerable to hydrofluoric acid and concentrated bases at high temperatures.
