370 ml Twist-Off Glass Jar with Vented Cap for Plant Cultures

The assembly consists of a clear wide-mouth glass jar fitted with a TO63 Twist-Off closure and a translucent polypropylene (PP) vented cap incorporating a hydrophobic filter membrane. It has been designed for laboratory and plant culture applications requiring a container with controlled passive gas exchange.

The filter membrane, manufactured from polypropylene (PP) nonwoven fabric using Meltblown technology, allows air and gas exchange without the need to open the container frequently. This configuration helps maintain suitable ventilation conditions during plant culture, seed germination and sample storage, while also helping to reduce condensation build-up under certain operating conditions.

The glass jar has a nominal capacity of 370 ml and a wide TO63 opening that facilitates culture preparation as well as easy handling and observation of the contents. The cap incorporates a raised central section that protects the membrane during normal use, providing a practical and durable closure for laboratory applications.

This assembly is suitable for in vitro plant culture, seed germination, biological sample storage and other applications requiring a vented container that is practical and easy to use. The cap is autoclavable and supplied non-sterile.
