PP Vented Cap with Filter Membrane for Passive Ventilation — Twist-Off TO63 370 ml Jar

Made from translucent polypropylene (PP), this vented cap has been developed for use with the wide-mouth glass jar TO63 370 ml (ref. 008.370-BTW). The integrated filter membrane located in the central section allows passive gas exchange between the container and the surrounding environment, reducing the need to frequently open the vessel to ventilate its contents.

Particularly well suited to plant tissue culture, seed germination, biological sample maintenance and other laboratory applications where internal atmosphere control is required without interrupting the process. Airflow through the membrane can help limit condensation build-up and contribute to more stable conditions inside the container.

The membrane is housed within a raised central area, providing protection against wear from routine handling. Polypropylene offers adequate chemical resistance to reagents and products commonly used in laboratory environments, as well as good dimensional stability under normal conditions of use.
