Documents
The flat-base porcelain capsule is an essential laboratory element, designed to withstand demanding thermal conditions and diverse chemical processes. Its robust configuration allows it to be used for solution evaporation as well as calcination, thermal decomposition, and substance fusion.
Manufactured from high-quality technical porcelain, composed of clay, quartz, and feldspar (3Al₂O₃ · 2SiO₂), it offers excellent heat resistance and high chemical inertia against acids and alkalis. Its structure allows direct contact with the flame, providing versatility in different heating methods.
The design incorporates a flat base that ensures stability during use, along with a side spout that facilitates the controlled transfer of liquids. The vitrified surface —except for the base— reduces residue adherence and simplifies cleaning, improving operability in intensive work environments.
Thanks to its durability and reliable performance, this capsule is suitable for analytical, research, and teaching laboratories, as well as for applications in metallurgy, ceramics, pharmacy, jewelry, and other technical sectors.
