Digital Refractometer with ATC

The portable digital refractometer is a measuring instrument designed to obtain fast and accurate results in determining the concentration of solutes in liquids. Equipped with an Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) system and a direct-reading LCD screen, it allows for reliable analysis under different environmental conditions, both in the laboratory and in the field.

This equipment comes in two configurations depending on the application. The multiscale version integrates three measuring ranges: 0–50 % Brix for sugar quantification, 0–28 % salinity for saline solutions, and a refractive index range of 1.3330 to 1.4200 nD. This combination makes it a versatile tool for quality control in food products, beverages, preserves, and chemical solutions.

The specific version for beer incorporates two scales: 0–50 % Brix and relative density (SG) from 1.000 to 1.130, allowing precise monitoring of the fermentation process and the content of fermentable sugars in beer wort.

Operation is simple and intuitive. Just deposit a few drops of the sample onto the prism to get an immediate reading on the screen. The digital system clearly displays the measured value, temperature, and selected range, facilitating interpretation without the need for additional calculations.

Its compact and light design (121 × 58 × 25 mm and approximately 350 g) allows for its transport and use in any environment. Additionally, it incorporates functions such as automatic shut-off to optimize energy consumption.

The equipment includes complete accessories for its use and maintenance: protective case, sampling pipette, prism protection, calibration tool, and power supply via AAA battery.

This refractometer is widely used in the food, brewing, wine industries, quality control laboratories, and industrial processes, where a fast, reliable, and reproducible measurement of parameters such as concentration, salinity, or density is required.
