Spinal Cord Anatomical Model
Enlarged 2x anatomical model of the spinal cord for neuroanatomy teaching.
Visualization of gray matter, white matter, and nerve roots. Made of resistant PVC with a support base.
The 2x enlarged anatomical model of the spinal cord is a didactic representation designed for teaching the structural organization of the central nervous system, facilitating the understanding of the internal arrangement of the cord in cross-section. Its enlargement allows for clearer observation of the anatomical components, being especially useful in educational and training contexts in biology and anatomy.
The structure shows in detail the gray matter, including the dorsal and ventral horns, the gray commissure, and the ependymal canal, as well as the white matter with its different fascicles and nerve conduction zones. The sensory and motor nerve roots are also represented, which allows for understanding the connection between the spinal cord and the peripheral nervous system.
The model incorporates two vertebral elements that provide additional anatomical reference, facilitating the contextualization of the spinal cord within the vertebral column and helping to interpret the arrangement of structures in a real environment.
Manufactured in highly durable PVC, it has a resistant and easy-to-maintain structure, suitable for continuous use in classrooms, laboratories, and training centers. It is supplied mounted on a stable base that allows its display and manipulation during teaching activities.
This model constitutes an effective pedagogical tool for teaching basic neuroanatomy, allowing a clear and accessible visualization of complex structures and favoring learning through three-dimensional representation.
