The Schieferdecker-type staining trough is designed for processing slides in a horizontal arrangement, providing a practical and efficient solution for laboratory staining procedures. Made of pressed soda-lime glass, it offers adequate chemical resistance and durability for continuous use in analytical environments.

Its capacity allows it to hold up to 10 standard slides of 26 × 76 mm in a conventional arrangement, which can be extended up to 20 units by placing them back-to-back. This configuration optimizes working capacity and facilitates the management of multiple samples in the same cycle, maintaining homogeneous exposure to reagents.
