The digital leukocyte counter is a specialized device for the differential enumeration of blood cells, designed to facilitate manual analysis in hematology. It allows counting up to 12 cell categories independently, showing both the individual count and the accumulated total.

Each category has a specific button that simultaneously increments the partial and global counter, speeding up the registration during microscopic observation. The system includes automatic percentage calculation functions, allowing the immediate relative distribution of each cell type with respect to the total analyzed to be obtained.

The equipment is capable of registering populations such as basophils, eosinophils, monocytes, lymphocytes, and neutrophils (segmented and band), as well as myeloid precursors such as promyelocytes, myelocytes, or metamyelocytes. In addition, it incorporates a configurable channel that allows adapting the count to the specific needs of each laboratory.

Its counting capacity per channel is 0 to 99 units, offering an adequate range for standard differential analysis. The reset function allows new counts to be started quickly and easily, optimizing the workflow.

This device helps reduce manual transcription and calculation errors, improving the reliability of the results and increasing efficiency compared to traditional methods. It is especially useful in clinical laboratories, research centers, and educational environments.
