Staining Jar

The soda-lime glass staining jar is designed for the horizontal processing of slides, offering a robust and reliable solution for laboratory staining procedures. Made of high-quality pressed glass, it provides good chemical resistance and long durability in intensive use environments.

The system is designed to work with standard 26 × 76 mm slides using a specific basket (not included), which can accommodate up to 10 preparations in the conventional position or expand the capacity up to 20 units by placing them back to back. This configuration optimizes sample organization and promotes homogeneous exposure to reagents during the staining process.

The jar incorporates a glass lid that helps protect the contents from external contamination and reduce the evaporation of reagents, improving the stability of the working environment. Its approximate dimensions allow for comfortable handling and easy integration into the laboratory bench.

For its complete operation, it is necessary to use complementary accessories that are sold separately: a slide basket, responsible for holding the samples, and a metal handle that facilitates the safe and controlled insertion and extraction of the assembly.

The soda-lime glass used offers compatibility with common reagents in histology and microbiology, and is also suitable for dishwasher cleaning, which simplifies its maintenance. Its use in microwave is not recommended.
